Methylcobalamin is a form of B-12.
Vitamin B12 comes in several forms but only the methyl form is used in the central nervous system. Cianocobalamin( the form used in vitamin supplemens) is converted by the liver in methylcobalamine but not in therapeutically significant amounts.Vitamin B 12 deficiency is caused by a wide range of factors as poor intestinal absorption, lack of calcium and heavy metal toxicity Adequate levels of B12 are needed to protect nerve tissue and myelin sheaths. Along with Trimethylglycine(TMG) and folate ,MB12 helps to convert homocysteine to methionine .It is well known that ASD patients have poor methylation, a crucial biochemical process for the transcription of DNA. Studies of the Nordeaster University of Boston show the importance of MB12 for the “attention”. In ASD patients injectable Methyl-B12 increases concentration, understanding, learning, speech, whole body energy.
Methylcobalamin is the most powerful tool for ASD patients, it also benefits patients with various neurological diseases and learning disabilities.
Ineffective by mouth, it is available as injectable solution, for subcutaneous shots, absolutely painless.
